The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has embarked on a major initiative aimed at strengthening tax administration and improving service delivery to the public. Senior management of the IRD, with support from consultants from the Caribbean Regional Technical Assistance Centre (CARTAC), participated in a week-long strategic planning workshop held from January 12 to 16, 2026.
At the launch ceremony for the 16th Tranche of the Development Account (DA), implemented in partnership with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), it was announced that Saint Lucia will benefit from the project titled “Strengthened Capacity to Design and Implement Policies to Enhance Resilience in Caribbean SIDS.”
